Part A – Terms & Conditions ("Terms")

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SAVO (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering a binding contract. If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental/guardian permission.

3. The Service

SAVO helps users identify potential allergens in foods and products by analysing ingredient information and user‑provided data. SAVO IS A TOOL, NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE OR PERSONAL DUE DILIGENCE. Always read product labels and consult a qualified professional.

4. No Medical Advice & Allergy Disclaimer

SAVO does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all ingredient data are complete or free from error. You use the Service at your own risk.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Provide true, current, and complete information when registering or submitting data.

  • Verify all allergen information independently before consumption.

  • Comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

6. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software forming part of the Service are owned by SAVO or its licensors. You receive a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non‑commercial purposes.

8. User Content Licence

If you submit feedback, images, or other content, you grant SAVO a worldwide, perpetual, royalty‑free licence to use, reproduce, and adapt that content for operating and improving the Service.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Reverse‑engineer or copy the Service.

  • Use the Service for medical diagnosis or emergency treatment.

  • Upload harmful or infringing content.

  • Interfere with servers or networks.

10. Third‑Party Links & Integrations

The Service may contain links or integrations to third‑party services. SAVO is not responsible for their content or practices; your use is at your own risk.

11. Fees & Subscriptions

During beta testing the Service is free. SAVO reserves the right to introduce paid plans in the future with advance notice.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may discontinue use at any time.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SAVO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAVO, its founders, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SAVO and its affiliates from all claims and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
